“Dirty Electricity Elevates Blood Sugar Among Electrically Sensitive Diabetics and May Explain Brittle Diabetes” (2008)More…Less…

Havas, Magda (2008), Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine, 27:2, 135 - 146.

Background: Transient electromagnetic fields (dirty electricity), in the kilohertz range on electrical wiring, may be contributing to elevated blood sugar levels among diabetics and prediabetics. By closely following plasma glucose levels in four Type 1 and Type 2 diabetics, we find that they responded directly to the amount of dirty electricity in their environment. In an electromagnetically clean environment, Type 1 diabetics require less insulin and Type 2 diabetics have lower levels of plasma glucose. Dirty electricity, generated by electronic equipment and wireless devices, is ubiquitous in the environment. Exercise on a treadmill, which produces dirty electricity, increases plasma glucose. These findings may explain why brittle diabetics have difficulty regulating blood sugar. Based on estimates of people who suffer from symptoms of electrical hypersensitivity (3-35%), as many as 5-60 million diabetics worldwide may be affected. Exposure to electromagnetic pollution in its various forms may account for higher plasma glucose levels and may contribute to the misdiagnosis of diabetes. Reducing exposure to electromagnetic pollution by avoidance or with specially designed STETZERiZER Filters may enable some diabetics to better regulate their blood sugar with less medication and borderline or pre-diabetics to remain non diabetic longer.

“A New Electromagnetic Exposure Metric: High Frequency Voltage Transients Associated With Increased Cancer Incidence in Teachers in a California School” (2008)More…Less…

Milham S, Morgan L. (2008), American Journal Of Industrial Medicine (2008), Volume 51 Issue 8, Pages 579 - 586. Accepted 29 April 2008, DOI: 10.1002/ajim.20598. Published online in (Wiley InterScience). © Wiley-Liss, Inc.

  • Background: In 2003 the teachers at La Quinta, California middle school complained that they had more cancers than would be expected. A consultant for the school district denied that there was a problem.
  • Objectives: To investigate the cancer incidence in the teachers, and its cause.
  • Results: Sixteen school teachers in a cohort of 137 teachers hired in 1988 through 2005 were diagnosed with 18 cancers.
  • Conclusion: The cancer incidence in the teachers at this school is unusually high and is strongly associated with high frequency voltage transients, which may be a universal carcinogen, similar to ionizing radiation.

“Power Quality Affects Teacher Wellbeing and Student Behavior in Three Minnesota Schools” (2008)More…Less…

Havas M, Olstad A. (2008), Science of the Total Environment (2008), DOI: 10.1016/j.scitotenv.2008.04.046.

  • Background: Poor power quality (dirty electricity) is ubiquitous especially in schools with fluorescent lights and computers. Previous studies have shown a relationship between power quality and student behavior/teacher health.
  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of power line filters to reduce dirty electricity in a school environment and to document changes in health and behavior among teacher and students.
  • Method: We installed Graham Stetzer filters and dummy filters and measured power quality in three Minnesota Schools. Teachers completed a daily questionnaire regarding their health and the behavior of their students for an 8-week period. Teachers were unaware of which filters were installed at any one time (single blind study).
  • Results: Dirty electricity was reduced by more than 90% in the three schools and during this period teacher health improved as did student behavior in the middle/elementary schools. Headaches, general weakness, dry eyes/mouth, facial flushing, asthma, skin irritations, overall mood including depression and anxiety improved significantly among staff. Of the 44 teachers who participated 64% were better, 30% were worse, and 6% did not change. Behavior of high school students did not improve but elementary/middle school students were more active in class; more responsive, more focused; had fewer health complaints; and had a better overall learning experience.
  • Conclusion: Dirty electricity in schools may be adversely affecting wellbeing of teachers and behavior of their students, especially younger students in middle and elementary school. Power line filters improve power quality and may also protect those who are sensitive to this energy. Work on electric and magnetic field metrics with and without Stetzer filters urgently needs to be carried out to determine just what characteristics of the dirty electricity may be interacting with the people.

“A Current Idea: Exploring the Public Health Impact of Electromagnetic Radiation” (2007)More…Less…

Genuis SJ. Fielding (2007), A Current Idea: Exploring the Public Health Impact of Electromagnetic Radiation. Public Health (2007), DOI: 10.1016/j.puhe.2007.04.008. © 2007 The Royal Institute of Public Health. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Summary: Several publications in the scientific literature have raised concern about the individual and public health impact of adverse non-ionizing radiation (a-NIR) from electromagnetic field (EMF) exposure emanating from certain power, electrical and wireless devices commonly found in the home, workplace, school and community. Despite the many challenges in establishing irrefutable scientific proof of harm and the various gaps in elucidating the precise mechanisms of harm, epidemiological analyses continue to suggest considerable potential for injury and affliction as a result of a-NIR exposure. As environmental health has not been emphasized in medical education, some clinicians are not fully aware of possible EMF-related health problems and, as a result, manifestations of a-NIR may remain misdiagnosed and ineffectually managed. It is important for physicians and public health officials to be aware of the fundamental science and clinical implications of EMF exposure. A review of the scientific literature relating to the link recommendations, and four case histories are presented for consideration.

“Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity: Biological Effects of Dirty Electricity with Emphasis on Diabetes and Multiple Sclerosis” (2006)More…Less…

Havas, M. (2006), Electromagnetic Biology and Medicine, 25: 259-268, 2006. © Informa Healthcare, ISSN 1536-8378 print, DOI: 10.1080/15368370601044192.

Abstract: Dirty electricity is a ubiquitous pollutant. It flows along wires and radiates from them and involves both extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields and radio frequency radiation. Until recently, dirty electricity has been largely ignored by the scientific community. Recent inventions of metering and filter equipment provide scientists with the tools to measure and reduce dirty electricity on electrical wires. Several case studies and anecdotal reports are presented. Graham/Stetzer (GS) filters have been installed in schools with sick building syndrome and both staff and students reported improved health and more energy. The number of students needing inhalers for asthma was reduced in one school and student behavior associated with ADD/ADHD improved in another school. Blood sugar levels for some diabetics respond to the amount of dirty electricity in their environment. Type 1 diabetics require less insulin and Type 2 diabetics have lower blood sugar levels in an electromagnetically clean environment. Individuals diagnosed with multiple sclerosis have better balance and fewer tremors. Those requiring a cane walked unassisted within a few days to weeks after GS filters were installed in their home. Several disorders, including asthma, ADD/ADHD, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, are increasing at an alarming rate, as is electromagnetic pollution in the form of dirty electricity, ground current, and radio frequency radiation from wireless devices. The connection between electromagnetic pollution and these disorders needs to be investigated and the percentage of people sensitive to this form of energy needs to be determined.

“The Largest Biological Experiment Ever” (2006)More…Less…

Arther Firstenberg, Sun Monthly, 01 Jan 2006.

Introduction: In 2002, Gro Harlem Brundtland, then head of the World Health Organization, told a Norwegian journalist that cell phones were banned from her office in Geneva because she personally becomes ill if a cell phone is brought within about four meters (13 feet) of her. Mrs. Brundtland is a medical doctor and former Prime Minister of Norway. This sensational news, published March 9, 2002 in Dagbladet, was ignored by every other newspaper in the world. The following week Michael Repacholi, her subordinate in charge of the International EMF (electromagnetic field) Project, responded with a public statement belittling his boss's concerns. Five months later, for reasons that many suspect were related to these circumstances, Mrs. Brundtland announced she would step down from her leadership post at the WHO after just one term. Nothing could better illustrate our collective schizophrenia when it comes to thinking about electromagnetic radiation. We respond to those who are worried about its dangers - hence the International EMF Project - but we ignore and marginalize those, like Mrs. Brundtland, who have already succumbed to its effects.

“Dirty Electricity and Electrical Hypersensitivity: Five Case Studies” (2004)More…Less…

World Health Organization Workshop on Electrical Hypersensitivity, 25-26 October, 2004, Prague, Czech Republic. Magda Havas, Environmental & Resource Studies, Trent University, Peterborough, ON, K9J 7B8, Canada; Dave Stetzer, Stetzer Electric Inc., 520 West Broadway St., Blair, WI 54616, USA

Abstract: Deteriorating power quality is becoming increasingly common in developed countries. Poor power quality, also known as dirty electricity, refers to a combination of harmonics and transients generated primarily by electronic devices and by non-linear loads. We have assumed, until recently, that this form of energy is not biologically active. However, when Graham/Stetzer® filters were installed in homes and schools, symptoms associated with electrical hypersensitivity (such as chronic fatigue, depression, headaches, body aches and pains, ringing in the ears, dizziness, impaired sleep, memory loss, and confusion) were reduced. Five case studies are presented that include one healthy individual; one person with electrical hypersensitivity; another with diabetes; and a person with multiple sclerosis. Results for 18 teachers and their classes at a school in Toronto are also presented. These individuals experienced major to moderate improvements in their health and wellbeing after Graham/Stetzer filters improved power quality in their home or work environment. The results suggest that poor power quality may be contributing to electrical hypersensitivity and that as much as 50% of the population may be hypersensitive; children may be more sensitive than adults and dirty electricity in schools may be interfering with education and possibly contributing to disruptive behavior associated with attention deficit disorder (ADD); dirty electricity may elevate plasma glucose levels among diabetics, and exacerbate symptoms for those with multiple sclerosis and tinnitus. Graham/Stetzer Filters and Meters enable individuals to monitor and improve power quality in buildings and they provide scientists with a tool for studying the effects of dirty electricity. For the first time we can progress from simply documenting electrical hypersensitivity to alleviating some of the symptoms. These results are dramatic and warrant further investigation. If they are representative of what is happening worldwide, then dirty electricity is adversely affecting the lives of millions of people.

“Graham-Stetzer Filters Improve Power Quality in Homes and Schools, Reduce Blood Sugar Levels in Diabetics, Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms, and Headaches” (2004)More…Less…

International Scientific Conference on Childhood Leukaemia, London, 6th-10th September, 2004. Magda Havas, Environmental & Resource Studies, Trent University, Peterborough, ON, K9J 7B8, Canada.
Dave Stetzer, Stetzer Electric Inc., 520 West Broadway St., Blair, WI 54616, USA

Summary: Graham/Stetzer filters significantly reduce radio frequency electrical noise on indoor wiring generated by computers, energy efficient lighting, dimmer switches, and entertainment units within the home or workplace and transported into buildings by power lines from neighbouring property. The resultant improvements in power quality in homes and in schools are associated with fewer and less severe headaches, more energy, lower blood sugar levels for diabetics, and improved balance for those with multiple sclerosis. Results are observed within a matter of hours or days. Cases studies for blood sugar, multiple sclerosis, and general wellbeing are presented.

“An Extremely Low Frequency Magnetic Field Attenuates Insulin Secretion From the Insulinoma Cell Line, RIN-m” (2004)More…Less…

Sakurai, T, Satake A, Sumi, S., Inoue, K and Miyakoshi, J. (2004). Bioelectromagnetics 25:160-166, Wiley-Liss, Inc.

Abstract: In this study, we investigated the effects of exposure to an extremely low frequency magnetic field (ELFMF) on hormone secretion from an islet derived insulinoma cell line, RIN-m. We stimulated RIN-m cells to secrete insulin under exposure to an ELFMF, using our established system for the exposure of cultured cells to an ELFMF at 5 mTand 60Hz, or under sham exposure conditions for 1 h and observed the effects. In the presence of a depolarizing concentration of potassium (45 mM KCl), exposure to ELFMF significantly attenuated insulin release from RIN-m cells, compared to sham exposed cells. Treatment with nifedipine reduced the difference in insulin secretion between cells exposed to an ELFMFand sham exposed cells. The expression ofmRNAencoding synaptosomal associated protein of 25 kDa (SNAP-25) and synaptotagmin 1, which play a role in exocytosis in hormone secretion and influx of calcium ions, decreased with exposure to an ELFMF in the presence of 45 mM KCl. These results suggest that exposure to ELFMF attenuates insulin secretion from RIN-m cells by affecting calcium influx through calcium channels.

“Dirty Power and Healthy Schools is it Possible? What do dairy cows and students have in common?” (2004)More…Less…

Magda Havas, Ph.D. (2004), Environmental & Resource Studies Program at Trent University.

Abstract: Last January I received a phone call from Michelle Illiatovitch in Toronto who told me that both she and her daughter, Kestra, were electrically sensitive. Shortly after some renovations Kestra began to feel ill. She noticed that the lights in her bedroom were flickering so they called in an electrician who corrected the problem that related to the loose wires in the fuse box. Kestra's health improved dramatically but she still felt tired and had frequent, headaches, fuzzy thinking, depression, chest pain and nausea. Michelle's niece, Catherine, developed chronic fatigue shortly after moving to a farm in Wisconsin. She read that some farmers in her area were experiencing health problems and they were also having difficulty with their dairy herds and that Dave Stetzer was helping the farmers solve their problems, which were electricity-related. She contacted Mr. Stetzer who told her to turn the power off in her home. She did this and began to feel better almost immediately. She then purchased some of his equipment to measure her home and to filter out the dirty electricity. Shortly after installing the electric filters, also known as capacitors, her health began to improve. She was so impressed she contacted her Aunt Michelle to share the good news.

“The Health Effects of Electrical Pollution” (2003)More…Less…

The National Foundation for Alternative Medicine (2003), 1629 K Street NW, Suite 402, Washington, D.C. 20006, 202.463.4900.

Abstract: Americans are surrounded by electrical devices - computers, VCRs and a plethora of household gadgets and consumer appliances. There is also the assumption that the electricity (and associated electrical phenomena) are safely confined to the wires carrying electricity and to the electrical devices themselves. For a variety of reasons, including the very design of the electrical distribution system, this assumption is no longer valid. Electricity is a trusted component of contemporary civilization. Few notice the poles, wires, substations and transformers that deliver electricity. Fewer still pay any attention to the hidden lattice of wires in the walls of homes, offices, churches, factories and schools. Yet all contribute to an increasingly dangerous electrical environment that has largely escaped systematic monitoring. The increased demand for electricity, and the proliferation of computers and other electronic devices have markedly increased our exposure to electrical phenomena. These phenomena are a ubiquitous presence in our lives, albeit invisible and odorless. There is the widespread (and mistaken) assumption that our electrical environment has been carefully studied and monitored and, save for a few exceptions, found to be harmless. The truth is that the millions of Americans live and work in environments that subject them to a variety of harmful electric phenomena.

“Blood Glucose Levels: A Study of Correlation Factors” (2003)More…Less…

Lloyd Morgan, 510 841-4362, Revised 16 June 2003.

  • Introduction: This study examines data collected from April 23 to May 29 for a 51-year old male resident of Blair, WI, Dave Stetzer. The study examines R2 factors derived from scatter plots of various combinations of two variables. This study, while focused on one person, also includes the results from three other individuals.
  • Abstract: Dave Stetzer was diagnosed as diabetic. Yet, removed from higher levels of dirty power, he can eat a large bowl of ice cream and a piece of pie without having any appreciable change in his blood glucose levels. However, even without eating, when in higher levels of dirty power, his blood sugar is sharply elevated.

“Changes in Health Status in a Group of CFS and CF Patients Following Removal of Excessive 50Hz Magnetic Field Exposure” (2002)More…Less…

Don Maisch, AASc, John Podd, BA (Hons), MA, PhD, Bruce Rapley, BSc, MPhil. Reprinted from. Journal of Australian College of Nutritional & Environmental Medicine Vol. 21 No. 1; April 2002: pages 15-19.

Abstract: In December 1998 a paper published in the ACNEM Journal examined the hypothesis that prolonged exposure to excessive 50Hz (power line frequency) magnetic fields may act as an immune system stressor giving rise to symptoms similar to those reported in Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) or Chronic Fatigue (CF). This paper was based on a number of case histories, most notably a well-documented Workcare Compensation case (Melbourne, 1991). Here, a group of female office workers developed CFS-like symptoms when working in a room with strong 50Hz magnetic fields emitted from an electrical substation immediately below the floor.

The present paper briefly reports the results of a small-scale pilot study utilising 49 subjects suffering from CFS or ongoing CF, who were exposed to varying strength magnetic fields in their home environment. Some subjects were found to have prolonged exposure to magnetic fields greater than 2 mG (milliGauss), which was used as a benchmark level. These subjects (Group A) were provided with advice and assistance regarding reducing their exposure level. The remainder of the subjects (Group B: less than 2 mG exposure level) were given no such advice or assistance. Changes in health status in both groups were recorded over a 6-month period. Results from the data collected at the start of the study showed no relationship between magnetic field strength and CFS/CF symptom severity. However, the majority of Group A subjects reported an improvement in symptoms and a marked improvement in sleep patterns, possibly due to the decrease in exposure. These results are discussed in the context of previous research showing disturbed sleep in the presence of magnetic fields. Such disturbances may come about through the effect of magnetic fields on melatonin secretion, a hormone involved in circadian functioning.

“Association Of Health Problems with 50Hz Magnetic Fields in Human Adults Living Near Power Transmission Lines” (2001)More…Less…

Ivan L. Beale, PhD, Neil. E. Pearce, PhD, Roger J. Booth, PhD, Sandra A. Heriot, PhD. Reprinted from. Journal of Australian College of Nutritional & Environmental Medicine Vol. 20 No. 2; Aug. 2001: pp. 9-12,15,30.

Abstract: Although numerous studies of animals and cell cultures indicate effects of power-frequency magnetic fields on immune-system function, few studies have looked for evidence of association between environmental power-frequency magnetic field exposure and immune-related illnesses in humans. This study used a cross-sectional design to examine the dose-response relationship between magnetic-field exposure of adults in their homes and prevalence of immune-related and other chronic illnesses. Five-hundred-and-sixty adults living near extra-high-voltage transmission lines completed questionnaires about their health and demographic characteristics. Derived health variables were related to individual estimates of time-integrated magnetic field exposure. Five of the eight health variables showed a linear dose-response relationship with exposure. After adjustment for possible confounding, significantly elevated odds ratio were obtained at higher exposure levels both for asthma and for combined chronic illnesses. The results are consistent with a possible adverse effect of environmental magnetic field exposure on immune-related and other illnesses.

“Historical Evidence That Residential Electrification Caused the Emergence of the Childhood Leukemia Peak” (2001)More…Less…

S. Milham, E. M. Ossiander, Washington State Department of Health, Olympia, Washington, USA. Medical Hypotheses, © 2001 Harcourt Publishers Ltd, DOI: 10.1054/mehy.2000.1138.

Summary: A peak in childhood leukemia, ages two through four, emerged de novo in the 1920s in the United Kingdom and slightly later in the United States (US). Electrification in US farm and rural areas lagged behind urban areas until 1956. In recent years, childhood leukemia has been associated with residential electromagnetic fields. During 1928-1932, in states with above 75% of residences served by electricity, leukemia mortality increased with age for single years 0-4, while states with electrification levels below 75% showed a decreasing trend with age (P = 0.009). During 1949-1951, all states showed a peak in leukemia mortality at ages 2-4. At ages 0-1, leukemia mortality was not related to electrification levels. At ages 2-4, there was a 24% (95% confidence interval (CI), 8%-41%) increase in leukemia mortality for a 10% increase in percent of homes served by electricity. The childhood leukemia peak of common acute lymphoblastic leukemia may be attributable to electrification.

“Clinical and Physiological Investigations of People Highly Exposed to Electromagnetic Fields” (2000)More…Less…

Edited by Kjell Hansson Mild, Monica Sandström and Eugene Lyskov. St. Petersburg, Russia, October 16-17, 2000. Hygienic, clinical and epidemiological analysis of disturbances induced by radio frequency EMF exposure in human body, V.N. Nikitina, North-West Scientific Center of Hygiene and Public Health, St.-Petersburg, Russia.

  • Background: The aim of the study was to examine the health of workers exposed to HF and microwave range (3 and 10 cm) EMF. Male regulators of communication equipment were exposed to HF EMF (3-30MHz). Microwave effects study was based on health status assessment of female testers of electronic equipment.
  • Abstract: Analysis of complaints showed that the regulators of radiotransmitting devices complained of headache, pain in the heart, sleep disturbances, epigastric pains, dyspeptic disorders and increased fatigue significantly more often than the workers of the other groups. The rate of complaints increased depending on the employment duration in EMF exposure jobs. It is most clearly shown by such complaints as headache, heartache, epigastric pains and sleep disturbances. The rate of somatic disorders in the basic group was significantly higher than that in the control (77.8% compared to 28.9%, P less than 0.01). Table 2 shows the pattern and rate of pathological changes found in HF-exposed workers and in the control. As follows from table 2 the rate of central nervous system (CNS) and cardiovascular system disturbances diagnosed in EMF-exposed workers was significantly higher than that in the control. A tendency to increased rate of gastrointestinal tract pathology was observed. Peripheral nervous system diseases were registered in both of the compared groups, but the differences were not significant. Table 3 illustrates the incidence of functional CNS and cardiovascular system disturbances in the basic, control and special groups. As follows from table 3, the CNS and cardiovascular system pathology level is significantly higher in regulators and in persons previously exposed to EMF than that in the control group. Health status changes induced by EMF-exposure are persistent.

Background: In 1997-1999 the experimental lab of the Center of Electromagnetic Safety (Moscow) carried out measurements of EMF RF intensity in the places of Base Station (BS) allocation in Moscow and suburbs. The territories close to 86 BSs of NMT-40, AMPS/D-AMPS, GSM-900, DCS (GSM-1800) standards were examined. The investigation was carried out both on the BSs especially picked out by the operators of cellular radiocommunication nets during the starting and on working BSs in different workload conditions (O. Grigoriev, A. Merkulov et all.,1999). There were no other evident EMF RF sources. Specially worked out methods were used for carrying out measurements that were in accordance with the standard project “Measurement and assessment of human exposure to high frequency (9kHz to 300GHz) electromagnetic fields” (the project was finished by working group 15 TC 85 IEC). EMF level instrumental control was carried out in the places of uncontrolled access and possible 24-hour radiation of population - in territories close to BSs inside all the apartments of first line buildings around the BSs and inside the last floor apartments of the buildings where BS radiotransmitting antennas are set. It is to be noted that very many BSs in Russia are set on the roofs of the residential buildings.

“European Commission Report – Electromagnetic Fields. Fieldwork October–November 2006, Publication June 2007”More…Less…

Eurobarometer. Electromagnetic Fields Report, June 2007

Introduction:

Electromagnetic fields (EMF) occur in nature and have thus always been present on earth. However, during the 20th century, exposure to man- made sources of EMF has steadily increased due to electricity demand, wireless technologies, (especially for telecommunication), and changes in work practices and social behaviour.

Virtually every citizen across Europe is exposed to EMF through sources such as high voltage power lines, household electrical appliances, computers, radar, radio and television broadcast facilities, mobile telephones and their base stations, induction heaters and/or anti-theft devices. The frequencies of EMF in the electrical applications vary between 0 Hz to 300 GHz with diverse characteristics.

Over the years, the European Commission (EC) has for long time been monitoring the potential health effects of EMF, requesting the review of scientific literature, financing research, disseminating information and contributing to the establishment of a legal framework for the protection of workers and citizens.

The competences and legal power pertaining to the EC in regard to EMF are embodied in legal texts, the Council Recommendation (1999/519/EC) and Directive (2004/40/EC) limiting the EMF exposure of general public and in workers, as well as in provisions relating to restrictions on EMF originating from products placed on the EU market (1999/5/EC).

In what relates to the exposure of the general public to EMF, the above-mentioned legal restrictions are based on the guidelines of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) from 1998, as endorsed by the Scientific Steering Committee advising the EC on multi-disciplinary scientific issues.

The Council Recommendation (1999/519/EC) requires that Member States, in order to provide for a high level protection of public health, adopt a framework of basic restrictions and reference levels. The recommendations on the limitation of exposure are based on the best available scientific evidence and on the established effects on human health of EMF.

See the report at the European Commission web site.

Electro-magnetic hypersensitivity symptoms

It must be made clear that Filters do not profess to be a panacea for people who are affected or suffer from any of the health issues.

However, the research indicates that there has been substantial improvement in the quality of life of those people who are sensitive to excessive levels of electromagnetic radiation energy.

Symptoms of (radiation) radio wave sickness first documented among radar workers during the Second World War resemble those now associated with electromagnetic hypersensitivity and include:

  • Neurological
headaches, nausea, lack of concentration, irritability, fatigue, insomnia, muscle and joint pain, muscle spasms
  • Cardiac
palpitations, arrhythmia, low or high blood pressure, shortness of breath
  • Respiratory
    sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma
  • Dermatological
skin rash, itching, burning, facial flushing
  • Ophthalmological
pain or burning in eyes, pressure in or behind eyes, deteriorating vision, floaters, cataracts
  • Others
digestive problems, dehydration, immune abnormalities, pain in teeth

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter.”
Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Since we installed the filters I've noticed my sleep is deeper and I dream much more, the nagging pain in my shoulder has disappeared and my wife's knee pain has improved significantly.”
Christopher, London, ON.

“We have 2 Autistic children ages 5 and 3. On January 14 2008 we put Stetzerizer filters in our home. Well, we noticed the kids are calmer and happier. Our 5 year old that wakes up every night, now sleeps through the night. She also falls asleep in about 15 minutes, before the filters it would take her a hour or so fall asleep. Our 3 year old has been also using more words and having less tantrums.
“My husband and I would recommend the filters to anyone that cares about their health. I also have been sleeping better, before the filters, I was waking up at 3 am and then getting about 3/4 of a hour sleep for the rest of the night. The pain in my hands and arms is also getting better. We just started using the filters, right away we noticed a difference in our kids.”
Shannon, Salt Spring Island, BC

“The volume of the 'bee hive' (sound) increased, but strangely disappeared when I went for a week away from home! When we received the test kit, we realized that the house's wiring was very 'dirty.' After installing the filters the buzzing in my ears is very slight now.”
Mary, Calgary, AB.
